ECO FARE TYPE

• Booking made in more than 24 hours prior to the schedule departure time: booking hold time is from 0 – 12 hours.
• Booking made within 24 hours prior to the schedule departure time: booking hold time is 01 hour.
• Some special booking classes will require instant ticketing.

Non-refundable fare type:

• Ticket is not refundable. Only government taxes, fees, surcharges, charges… can be refunded at a fee of VND 100,000 per passenger/segment.

Refundable fare type:

• Ticket is refundable at a fee of VND 350,000.
• To be eligible for a refund
  • Booking must be cancelled at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure time and ticket is still valid.
  • Original ticket is refundable. If original ticket is non-refundable then changed to refundable fare classes, non-refundable rule is still applicable.
• Refund amount includes fares, airline surcharges, charges, government charges, fees, taxes minus refund fee. (change fee is not refundable)
• Prepaid service bundles, ancillary products will also be refunded if ticket fare type is refundable (hot meal is only refundable if cancelled 48 hours before departure).
• Ticket is valid for refund within 13 months from the date of issue.

For non-refundable tickets and/or refundable tickets not cancelled less than 4 hours prior to departure:

• Only government taxes, fees, surcharges, charges… can be refunded at a fee of VND 100,000 per passenger/segment. (VAT not included)
• Ticket validity is 13 months from the first date of issue.

Involuntary refund:

• Delay for more than 03 hours or depart earlier than 01 hour from the scheduled departure: refund is allowed.
• Cancelled flights: flights cancelled within 24 hours from the scheduled departure.
• All segments in booking with schedule change are allowed for refund or only affected segment if passenger requires.

• Permitted at a fee of VND 350,000/passenger plus fare difference (if any – calculated on equivalent or higher fares).
• Name change will apply for all flight segments of the booking and must be made at least 04 hours before the scheduled departure time.
• Apply per change, no limit on the number of changes as long as ticket is still valid.

• Rebook: permitted at a fee of VND 350,000/passenger/segment plus fare difference (if any – calculated on equivalent or higher fares).
• Rebook and/or reroute: permitted at a fee of VND 350,000/passenger/segment plus fare difference (if any – calculated on equivalent or higher fares). Reroute to a lower fare, fare difference is not refundable.
• Permitted at a fee of VND 350,000/passenger/segment plus fare difference (if any – calculated on equivalent or higher fares).
• Apply per change, no limit on the number of changes as long as ticket is still valid.

• This applies after check-in counter close and not more than the actual departure time (Passengers need to be verified by Vietravel Airlines staffs during this period of time). Passenger has the right to change to the next available flights (the flights within 24 hours from the flight passenger no-showed) at a fee of VND 400,000 plus fare difference (if any).

• Changes must be made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure. 
• Fare does not include airline surcharges, charges, government charges, fees, taxes… 
• Airline fare, charges, surcharges do not include VAT.

Ticket validity

• For unused ticket: 12 months from the date of issue.
• For used ticket: 12 months from the first departure.
• In case of voluntary change, all ancillary products, service bundles will be carried over to the new flights (hot meals must be changed at least 48 hours before the scheduled flight or will not be carried over)
